We have the story of Tordor and Esme. Both from a different family life, but both want peace. Esme does not want a relationship due to her life with her father. Can Tordor break through her wall? Can they build a relationship and transition to earth?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I'm glad this is still going strong seven books in the Etherya's Earth series, it had what I was looking for in this series. Rebecca Hefner has a great writing style and I always enjoy reading anything from her. The characters were what I was expecting and they felt like real people. I can't wait to continue this series. This is for the audiobook version: First and foremost, I'm glad for the new narrator. It's the next generation story so it's fitting to have a fresh new voice. Etherya's Earth has been a favorite series of mine from the beginning and it's my opinion that what Rebecca Hefner is doing from this audiobook on is refreshing. She's letting the "young" ones take the lead now. This is Tor and Esme's story. Tor is Sathan and Miranda's son. Esme is an emotionally broken elf hybrid. She also happens to be a disinherited princess. Their love story is a hard fought tumultuous one with new friends and new enemies. You get action, drama, steam, cameos of beloved characters, sneak peeks of new characters, a plot that keeps you listening (without pausing) and a twist you may not see coming. I see great things for the direction this series is going and the narrator doesn't disappoint. Nor does Rebecca Hefner but that goes without saying.

USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Hefner grew up in Western NC and now calls the Hudson River of NYC home. In her youth, she would sneak into her mother’s bedroom and read the romance novels stashed on the bookshelf, cementing her love of HEAs. A huge Buffy and Star Wars fan, she loves an epic fantasy and a surprise twist (Luke, he IS your father).

Before becoming an author, Rebecca had a successful twelve-year medical device sales career.
