This quick read starts with a great hook and effortlessly held my interest. It's fast-paced with an exciting, action-filled plot and several mysteries that presented unexpected twists as our heroine Kira struggles to catch a killer while protecting her family and her human friend. I really liked the characters. I enjoyed the narration by Yu-Li Alice Shen. Her performance was well paced and easy to understand, and I liked how she conveyed personality and emotions with her character voices.
