About this movie

Years after an unspeakable tragedy tore their lives apart, two sets of parents (Reed Birney and Ann Dowd, Jason Isaacs and Martha Plimpton), agree to talk privately in an attempt to move forward. In Fran Kranz' writing and directing debut, he thoughtfully examines their journey of grief, anger and acceptance by coming face-to-face with the ones who have been left behind.

The unpleasant side of parenting. Powerful plot with powerful performances. This movie is hits every nerve to make you emotional, to make you feel what these families go through after an event...like a school shooting. It is soo well directed with actors giving their best and so natural performances. This is a must watch for every parent.

This is a powerful film, even if it is just four people sitting in a room talking. It's obviously not for everyone, but I do recommend this to anyone who likes "My Dinner with Andre" style films. Best to go into this completely blind, do not even read the description.

I can explain why this movie is soo important for any family that's had a child involved in any accident of blame for something he did not do.... he was just a victim in the car.. not driving mine injured severely and still we were never apologized by the family that had the child that caused the accident and..... both my son and my family(Catholic school) were shunned from all so-called friends... This movie is more about moving forward.. without any apologies 👍 so watch it very enlightening
